Hundreds of people gathered Thursday at Childress High School to honor Texas Department of Public Safety Highway Patrol Trooper Sergio Romero, who was killed in the line of duty last week.
"I have formally submitted Texas' application to the Department of Homeland Security for reimbursement of costs Texas had to incur because President Biden refused to do his job," said Governor Abbott.
