BALLINGER, TX — The parking garage behind Ballinger Home Health and next to the old city Hall that houses the fire department and the police station is ablaze in Ballinger. The fire started at around 8:30 p.m.
Ballinger has a volunteer fire department. According to radio traffic every VFD in Runnels County has been alerted to assist.
As of 10 p.m., reports from Ballinger were that the fire was under control. The building that burned appeared to be the garage located behind Ballinger Home Health.
Ballinger is located 45 miles northeast of San Angelo on US 67 north.
