Wall’s Kirkland Earns Offer From Embry-Riddle

WALL, TX — After a breakout junior season, Wall’s Jaxson Kirkland has picked up an offer to play college basketball at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.

Kirkland, a 6-foot-6 forward, scored 11 points per game last season while shooting 50% from the floor.

He also averaged 6.7 rebounds, 1.2 blocks and 2 deflections for a Hawks team that went 29-6 and won a district title and a playoff game.

Kirkland will be one of the area’s top returning players for the 2026-27 season.

Embry-Riddle has two campuses — one in Daytona Beach, Florida, and another in Prescott, Arizona.

The Daytona Beach campus competes in NCAA Division II, while the Prescott campus competes in NAIA.
