Wall-Jim Ned Baseball Rematch Postponed

TUSCOLA, TX — Due to inclement weather, the top 10 baseball matchup between Wall and Jim Ned scheduled for this evening has been postponed.

The teams are tentatively set to meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday in Tuscola.

Wall handed then-No. 1 Jim Ned a 10-5 loss Friday that was the Indians’ first setback of the season.

The loss dropped Jim Ned (23-1 overall, 10-1 in district) to No. 3 in the Class 3A state rankings, while Wall (21-9, 11-0) remained at No. 9.

Jim Ned has a chance to force a share for the title in District 6-3A if it can win the rematch.

The game is the regular-season finale for Jim Ned, while Wall will play one more game when it visits No. 5 Shallowater on Friday.
