SAN ANGELO, TX — An unsettled weather pattern will bring rain chances to parts of the San Angelo area into early next week, while temperatures overall will be warmer and close to normal Friday through Sunday, the National Weather Service said Wednesday.
Highs in San Angelo are forecast to reach the upper 80s and low 90s over the weekend. The extended forecast calls for a high of 82 degrees today, Wednesday, climbing to 86 Thursday, 88 Friday and Saturday, and peaking at 90 Sunday. Temperatures will moderate slightly early next week to 86 Monday and 84 Tuesday.
Precipitation probabilities will remain low early in the period — 15 percent today and 5 percent Thursday — before increasing to 30 percent Friday and Saturday, 40 percent Sunday and Monday, and 25 percent Tuesday.
Similar conditions are expected across the region covered by the NWS San Angelo office. Abilene and Sweetwater are forecast to reach 92 degrees Sunday, while highs in Ballinger, Brady, Brownwood, Coleman, Haskell, Junction, Ozona and San Saba will generally range from the low to upper 80s through the weekend before easing into the mid-80s early next week.
