An Abilene man formerly listed among Texas’ 10 Most Wanted Sex Offenders was sentenced to 18 months in federal prison for failing to comply with sex offender registration requirements.
A traffic stop on Interstate 10 led to the arrest of two people in the country illegally after deputies found about 20 stolen catalytic converters and a handgun.
Andrea Mendoza was involved in a fatal hit-and-run crash last year - followed by a DWI arrest less than eight months later. She now has a chance to be released from prison on probation.
