Authorities arrested Eduardo Quinones Fuentes in Hidalgo, Kenneth Wayne Patterson in Plano and Leroy Lewis Jr. in Houston. A Texas Crime Stoppers reward will be paid for information that led to Patterson's arrest.
Fuentes, 32, was taken into custody June 22 at the McAllen-Hidalgo International Bridge after returning from Mexico. Fuentes had been wanted since October 2025 on warrants for a parole violation and obstruction, along with a November 2025 Hidalgo County warrant for failing to comply with sex offender registration requirements. Since 2016, he has been convicted of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, sexual assault, assault, unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon and human smuggling.

Patterson had been wanted since December 2025 on a Dallas County warrant for failing to comply with sex offender registration requirements. He was convicted in 1989 of sexually assaulting an 8-year-old girl and sentenced to eight years in prison. DPS said he has a history of failing to comply with sex offender registration requirements.

The arrest involved DPS special agents assigned to the Texas Anti-Gang Center, the Harris County Sheriff's Office Violent Criminal Apprehension Team, the Houston Police Department Southeast Crime Suppression Team and the Office of the Attorney General's Fugitive Apprehension Unit.
Lewis had been wanted since March on a Harris County warrant for failing to comply with sex offender registration requirements. He was sentenced to 35 years in prison and was paroled in 2012, when he became subject to sex offender registration requirements.
