San Angelo Man Arrested for Sexual Assault of Child at Lake Nasworthy

SAN ANGELO, TX — A San Angelo man has been arrested for allegedly sexually abusing a child at Lake Nasworthy and his home.

Adolpho Martinez, 33, was arrested by the Tom Green County Sheriff’s Office for indecency with a child by sexual contact and sexual assault of a child.

According to court documents, the investigator observed a forensic interview on July 18, 2026, where a 15-year-old child had made an outcry of being sexually assaulted.

From the forensic interview, the investigator learned that the child victim arranged to meet with Martinez and consume alcohol on July 7, 2026. Martinez transported the victim to Mary E. Lee Park and Martinez’s residence, where the alleged indecency and sexual assault occurred.

Court documents state that Martinez touched the child and performed sexual acts on the child at the park and at his residence.

The investigator reviewed the contents of the victim’s cell phone and observed messages between Martinez and the victim. The messages stated that the two agreed to meet in person and that Martinez would purchase alcohol for the victim. There were also messages from Martinez in which he told the victim his address, and records stated that Martinez was apologizing to the victim.

Adolpho Martinez was arrested on Oct. 24 and booked into the Tom Green County Jail, where he currently has a $150,000 bond.
