SAN ANGELO, TX — After a long offseason, the 2026 NFL season finally begins in less than a month. Preseason kicks off on Thursday, Aug. 13, with a full slate of games scheduled.
After a thrilling walk-off finish to the NFL Hall of Fame Game on Aug. 6 that saw the Carolina Panthers beat the Arizona Cardinals 33-30 on the final play of the game, the NFL preseason officially kicks into gear with Detroit at Cincinnati and Green Bay at Pittsburgh beginning at 6 p.m.
The action continues with Indianapolis at New England at 6:30 p.m. Then the LA Chargers at Houston and Arizona at Las Vegas claim the 7 p.m. slot. Finally, the night finishes off on the West Coast with Tennessee at San Francisco at 8 p.m.
The Dallas Cowboys play their preseason opener at 7 p.m. Saturday at Seattle.
