MLB All-Star Game Returns to Philly for First Time in 30 Years

 

PHILADELPHIA, PA — Major League Baseball's brightest stars will take center stage Tuesday night as the 2026 MLB All-Star Game returns to Philadelphia for the first time since 1996.

The 96th Midsummer Classic will be played at Citizens Bank Park, home of the Philadelphia Phillies, marking another major sporting event for the city during America's 250th anniversary celebration. The game caps a week of All-Star festivities that included the Home Run Derby, Futures Game and fan events across Philadelphia.

Phillies left-hander Cristopher Sánchez is scheduled to start for the National League, while Toronto Blue Jays right-hander Dylan Cease will take the mound for the American League.

  • First pitch: 7 p.m.
  • Location: Citizens Bank Park, Philadelphia
  • TV: FOX
  • Streaming: FOX One (with TV provider), FOX Sports app, and participating live TV streaming services that carry FOX, including Fubo, Hulu + Live TV, YouTube TV and DirecTV.

This year, the state of Texas only sends two players, one from each of the Texas Rangers and the Houston Astros. Houston's Yordan Alvarez will be the DH for the American League, while the Rangers' left-hander, Jacob Latz, made the team as a relief pitcher.
