NFL Divisional Playoff Round Set

NEW YORK, NY — The NFL on Sunday night announced the schedule and broadcast details for the 2025 Divisional Round, which will take place Jan. 17-18.

Four postseason matchups are set, featuring the top seeds in both conferences hosting games across two days.

Saturday, Jan. 17

  • AFC: No. 6 Buffalo Bills at No. 1 Denver Broncos, 3:30 p.m. (CBS, Paramount+)

    • Josh Allen and the Bills come off a 27-24 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars in the Wild Card Round last Sunday. As the No. 1 seed in the AFC, Denver comes off a bye.

  • NFC: No. 6 San Francisco 49ers at No. 1 Seattle Seahawks, 7 p.m. (FOX, FOX One)

    • The San Francisco 49ers advanced past the Wild Card Round last week after defeating the Philadelphia Eagles, 23-19. As the No. 1 seed in the NFC, Seattle was on a bye last week.

Sunday, Jan. 18

  • AFC: No. 5 Houston Texans at No. 2 New England Patriots, 2 p.m. (ESPN/ABC, ESPN+)

    • Houston took down the Pittsburgh Steelers, 30-6, last Monday to advance. The Patriots dominated on defense to shut down the Los Angeles Chargers, 16-3.

  • NFC: No. 5 Los Angeles Rams at No. 2 Chicago Bears, 5:30 p.m. ET (NBC, Peacock)

    • Matt Stafford and the Rams survived the Carolina Panthers, 34-31, last week. The Bears came back to beat the Green Bay Packers, 31-27, after trailing by double digits for three quarters.

This weekend will also be an excellent opportunity to see if the bye week for the No. 1 seeds was a blessing or a hindrance. Currently, the Broncos are 1.5-point favorites to beat the Bills. However, Josh Allen has much more playoff experience than the Broncos' second-year quarterback, Bo Nix.

San Francisco versus Seattle should be one of the most exciting games this weekend. The bitter NFC West rivals clash for the third time this season. Both teams claimed a victory on the road in the previous two meetings; the 49ers won in Week 1, and the Seahawks won in Week 18. Currently, Vegas lists the Seahawks as heavy favorites. Oddsmakers say that Seattle will win by at least seven, but San Francisco has proved the doubters wrong before. The 49ers were 5.5-point underdogs on the road in Philadelphia last week, but managed to pull out a win.
