WALL, TX — The No. 1 Wall Lady Hawks (25-3)(6-0) retained control of District 6-3A after a dominating performance against Clyde at Wall High School on Tuesday night. The Lady Hawks led from start to finish and took home an 85-34 victory.
The Lady Hawks extended their winning streak to four games with the win.
Wall jumped out to a massive 32-3 lead in the first quarter. Katherine Lewis and Jewels Johnson stormed ahead for the Lady Hawks—each tallying 10 points through the first half.
Up 45-12 at the break, Wall took its foot off the gas a bit and let some of the other girls on Wall's team tally up some valuable playing time. Clyde played much better in the final two quarters, scoring 12 in the 3rd and ten points in the 4th, but the Lady Hawks simply were too tough to beat.
