San Angelo LIVE! Tries Dry Needling at Movement Therapy

SAN ANGELO, TX— San Angelo LIVE!'s James Bouligny gets poked and shocked by Movement Therapy's Megan Busker as he tries dry needling for the first time.

Dry Needling is a therapeutic technique used by physical therapists and other healthcare professionals that help with nueromuscular pain and movement impairments by inserting thin, sterile, acupuncture needles into the affected body part then utilizing a tens unit on those needles. The benefits of dry needling are pain reduction, reduced muscle tension, improved movement, and it also aids in recovery.

Movement Therapy is owned and operated by Megan Busker who is certified in dry needling and her advanced fellowship training places her in the top 1% of physical therapists nationally. She offers of course dry needling, spinal manipulation, soft tissue mobilization, and movement retaining and strengthening.
