SAN ANGELO, TX -- Angelo State University's 2026 Homecoming events and activities run throughout this week, culminating on Saturday, Oct. 10, with the Homecoming football game between the ASU Rams and Sul Ross State University.
Many of the Homecoming events are open to the public, including:
Tuesday, Oct. 6
- 7 p.m.: Ram Remembrance - A memorial ceremony to mark the passing of ASU students, faculty, staff, alumni and friends during the previous academic year. The ceremony will take place in the Houston Harte University Center.
Friday, Oct. 9
- 11:30 a.m.: Homecoming Honorees Luncheon Presented by Market Street - An afternoon to celebrate the ASU Alumni Association's 2026 Homecoming Honorees in the Houston Harte University Center. The event is complimentary for all attendees, but advance registration is required via the electronic form on the event website.
- 7 p.m.: Alumni Bonfire Bash - Alumni are invited to gather on the back patio of the LeGrand Alumni and Visitors Center for drinks, live music and up-close viewing of the bonfire lighting at 9 p.m. Advance registration is requested via the electronic form on the event website.
- 8:30 p.m.: Pep Rally and Bonfire - In the open area next to Foster Field at 1st Community Credit Union Stadium, 1600 University Ave.
Saturday, Oct. 10
- 9 a.m.: Class Reunion Breakfast - ASU alumni from class years ending in '6' can join their former classmates for a free breakfast on the lawn next to the Housley Tower, and then enjoy a front-row seat for the parade.
- 10 a.m.: Homecoming Parade - The parade route begins in the parking lot next to the Campus Green and then winds through the ASU campus to end at the Texan Hall residence hall.
- 11 a.m.: Alumni Campus Tour - All ASU alumni are invited to meet at the Housley Tower to take an hour-long guided tour to see how the campus has grown and changed.
- 3-5 p.m.: Homecoming Ram Jam - Tailgate party with free food, games, a live concert by country artist Dylan Marlowe, performances by the ASU Ram Band and Cheer Team, and more at the LeGrand Alumni and Visitors Center. Sponsored by the Mathis Law Firm PLLC, Ram Jam is free and open to everyone.
- 6 p.m.: Homecoming Football Game - The ASU Rams take on the Sul Ross State Lobos at LeGrand Stadium at 1st Community Credit Union Field. The Homecoming king and queen will be crowned at halftime, and the game day activities are sponsored by 1st Community Federal Credit Union.
Other Homecoming activities for students throughout the week include the Ram Relays, a food drive competition to benefit the ASU Ram Pantry, the Blue and Gold Bash, and a Dance and Chant Contest. The complete schedule of events is available at angelo.edu/homecoming.
