SAN ANGELO, TX — It's nearly October and Halloween will be here before you know it. Organizations have begun putting out their schedule of events including trunk or treats, games, activities and more.
More than 100 businesses and groups have banded together to put on one huge trunk or treat.
On Saturday, Oct. 17, from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., a trunk or treat will be held at the Blackbuck Amphitheater, 7955 Arden Road, just outside the San Angelo city limits.
The event is free to the public and will also include a free concert.
Other trunk or treats and Halloween events include:
39th annual Harvest Festival at Sierra Vista United Methodist Church
- Saturday, Oct. 3, 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
- Pancake breakfast from 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. for $5, lunch from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for $10, pumpkin patch from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., garage sale from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., silent auction for 2003 Indian Chief motorcycle

Fort Concho After Dark

- Thursday, Oct. 15, 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

- Trunk or treat, games and food
- Benefits the Children’s Advocacy Center of Greater West Texas.
Murder at Fort Concho
- Oct. 16-17, 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.
- “Clue”-style game in which guests solve a murder mystery by questioning historical figures across Fort Concho.
- Cost is $12 for general admission, $10 for children and Fort Concho members
