Kimble County to Auction Abandoned, Seized Vehicles

JUNCTION, TX — The Kimble County Sheriff’s Office will auction abandoned and seized motor vehicles to the highest bidder on Aug. 24, 2026. 

The sale begins at 9 a.m. at the sheriff’s office. Vehicles may be inspected the day before at 415 Pecan Street. Terms are cash, and the minimum bid is $250. Auctioneer Mark Tillman will conduct the sale. 

Any owner or lien holder with an interest in a vehicle may contact the Kimble County Sheriff’s Office at (325) 446-2766. After deducting allowed reimbursement costs, sale proceeds will be held for 90 days for the owner or lien holder. The purchaser will receive clear title free of liens after applying at the Kimble County Tax Office. 

The vehicles, taken into custody as abandoned or seized under Texas law after owners and lien holders failed to reclaim them, are:
