SAN ANGELO, TX — River Fest is returning to San Angelo for a celebration along the Concho River on Sept. 19.
It will be an all-day event lasting from 9 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. at The Bosque, 103 W. River Dr.
River Fest will feature "live music, family activities, sports tournaments, food and craft vendors, a car show and more at locations throughout the river corridor," the City of San Angelo's Facebook post stated.
The Shannon Kids Zone will be open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Kids wristbands are $5 and include a petting zoo, pony and horse rides, inflatables, games and the Splash Bash from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
All-day attractions include:
- River Fest Classic baseball tournament at Texas Bank Sports Complex
- Food and craft vendors
- Vega washer pitching tournament
- San Angelo Museum of Fine Arts Family Day
- Recreation flag football at Neff’s Amusement Park
- Music under the Chadbourne Street bridge
- Car show
- 3-on-3 basketball and pickleball tournaments at the YMCA
- Clash on the Concho at the downtown skate park
The River Stage will feature free live music and entertainment hosted by the 94.7 KIXY crew, including local cheer groups, mariachi performances, the DTSA Mermaid Pageant, One Voice, One Church, and a closing performance by Cupid, “The Line Dance King,” at 8 p.m.
