SAN ANGELO, TX — The San Angelo Independent School District Board of Trustees will consider secondary feeder patterns that determine which middle school students attend when it meets at 5:45 p.m. today.
The board is scheduled to consider approval of the Secondary Feeder Patterns Fall 2027. These patterns would assign students from specific elementary schools to middle schools beginning in the 2027-28 school year, with the goal of balancing enrollment across the district’s middle schools.
Under the proposal:
- Students from Lamar, Glenmore, Belaire and Ft. Concho elementary schools would attend Glenn Middle School.
- Students from Bonham, Crockett, McGill and Santa Rita elementary schools would attend Lone Star Middle School.
- Students from Fannin, Goliad, Bradford and Holiman elementary schools would attend Lincoln Middle School.
Glenn and Lone Star middle schools feed Central High School. Lincoln Middle School feeds Lake View High School.
The board will also consider approval of the Guaranteed Maximum Price for Fannin Elementary School with Lee Lewis Construction. If approved, this would allow the district to move forward with construction on the Bond 2025 project, which includes a new kitchen and cafeteria, new library, administrative additions, special education additions and site circulation improvements.
Trustees are also scheduled to discuss the Superintendent Evaluation in closed session before taking action in open session.
The special meeting will include board updates and reports on bond construction and the budget, an opportunity for public comments, and review of the proposed agenda for the July 20 regular board meeting.
The meeting is set for the Board Room at the San Angelo ISD Administration Building, 1621 University Ave.
