Multiple Road Closures Begin Wednesday in San Angelo for Sewer Work

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — The City of San Angelo will close portions of several streets and one intersection beginning Wednesday for sanitary sewer improvement work, city officials stated Tuesday.

W. Harris Avenue and Pecos Street will be closed from N. David Street to Cottonwood Street from Wednesday through Friday. 

The closure is required for planning related to sewer improvements. Detour signs will be posted, and businesses in the area will remain accessible.

The intersection of Santa Fe Park Drive and Park Drive will close to through traffic from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday for sewer line installation across Park Drive. Santa Fe Park Golf Course will remain open, and access via Veterans Memorial Drive will be maintained.

Cottonwood Street from Guadalupe Street to Caddo Street will close beginning Wednesday and remain closed through late September for sewer improvement work. Detour signs will be in place, and resident access will be maintained throughout the project.
