West Texas Pickle Fest Hits San Angelo Next Week

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — The West Texas Pickle Fest is coming to San Angelo on Saturday, June 13, at Bart Dewitt Park and The Bosque, 330 S. Irving St.

The festival will include a car show, food trucks, vendors, contests and family fun.

Festivities begin at 10 a.m. for VIP-only entry, and the open ceremony will begin at 11 a.m. and last until 4:30 p.m.

Here are other scheduled events:

  • Noon Pickle relay
  • 1 p.m. Pickle-eating contest
  • 2 p.m. Pickle-chugging contest
  • 3 p.m. Pickle relay Round 2
  • 4 p.m. Door prizes
  • 4:30 p.m. Announcing winners of Pickle King & Queen, car show categories, and pickle drinks, food and vendors

The crowd will decide the winners of the car show. They welcome custom cars, classic cars, trucks, motorcycles and jeeps.

"Whether your ride is spotless, slammed, lifted, restored, wrapped, customized, or completely PICKLED OUT... we want to see it at Pickle Fest," the Facebook post stated.

  • Favorite custom ride
  • Best interior
  • Best exterior
  • Most pickled-out vehicle

First place winners receive:

  • Official Pickle Fest crown
  • Winner's plaque
  • Official winner certificate
