San Angelo Police Department Celebrates Retirement, Promotion

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — The San Angelo Police Department recognized two significant milestones recently, including the end of a 31-year career.

Sergeant Timothy Coffman has retired after 31 years and 2 months of dedicated service.

"Throughout his career, Timothy has served the citizens of San Angelo with professionalism, commitment, and integrity. His decades of service have left a lasting impact on this department and the community we serve. We thank him for his unwavering dedication and wish him nothing but the very best in retirement," SAPD stated.

They also announced the promotion of Jason Chegwidden to the rank of Sergeant.

"This achievement reflects Jason’s hard work, leadership, and commitment to serving our community and fellow officers. We are confident he will continue to excel in this new role and help lead the department forward," SAPD stated.

SAPD asked the community to join them in congratulating Coffman and Chegwidden on their accomplishments.
