SAN ANGELO, TX — Johnson’s Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens will hold its annual Memorial Day Observance at 10 a.m. Monday, May 25.
The event will be held at 4989 FM 1223.
This year’s program will feature remarks from a Base Commander at Goodfellow Air Force Base, a ceremonial flag presentation by the Base Honor Guard, and live and lively patriotic music.
Following the observance, attendees are invited to stay for a casual picnic lunch of hot dogs and sausage wraps.
The event is open to everyone. The purpose is to offer a meaningful opportunity for families, veterans and community members to come together in gratitude and reflection for those who died while serving in the armed forces.
