SAN ANGELO, TX — The San Angelo Chamber of Commerce announced that nominations are open for its 2026 20 Under 40 Celebration.
According to the San Angelo Chamber of Commerce website, the 20 Under 40 Awards recognize younger members of our community who are outstanding professionals, leaders and contributors to San Angelo.
People can nominate others for the 2026 list through June 1, 2026. Honorees are chosen by an anonymous selection committee based on information provided in the applications, according to the San Angelo Chamber of Commerce website.
Applicants are selected through a blind point system. The more detailed an application is, the more likely a nominee is to receive the maximum number of points in each section.
Nominees should demonstrate success in their chosen field, contribute significantly to the success of their company or employer and show strong character, involvement and achievement. Organizers stated that nominees should also be committed to professional excellence and community service.
The recognition is intended for people who are involved in community activities and have the potential to affect the community’s future.
To qualify, nominees must work in the Concho Valley and be under 40 as of Oct. 23, 2026. Nominees should also show a commitment and motivation to serve the San Angelo area.
The San Angelo Chamber of Commerce stated that the winners will be notified at the end of June.
