Spider-Man: Brand New Day Drops Another Trailer Online

HOLLYWOOD — Another trailer for the fourth installment into the Marvel Spider-Man franchise has been released online and it features the strongest Avenger.

The trailer shows even more of the world with everyone having forgot that Peter Parker is Spider-Man. The much-anticipated film allegedly features an X-Men character, and it offers footage of the return of Bruce Banner and, of course, the Hulk. Also shown is Frank Castle aka the Punisher.

The synopsis reads:

It’s a BRAND NEW DAY for Peter Parker. Fighting crime full-time as Spider-Man in a world that doesn’t remember him — and the pressure of seeing his old friends move on without him — sparks a change in Peter he may not have the power to control. But that transformation might also be the only thing that can stop a shocking new threat to the city and those he loves – a powerful villain no one can even see. The world may have forgotten Peter Parker, but he hasn’t forgotten them.

From the trailer, Peter is going to be going through a massive change as he won’t rely on his web shooter technology and is going organic, something we haven’t seen since Sam Raimi’s Spiderman films. With that, enter Bruce Banner, who may help Peter try and deal with the mutation that is changing him. As for the masked villain, social media seems to believe that Sadie Sink is playing the X-Men character Jean Grey. We also see Frank Castle marking his debut in the MCU.

Spider-Man fans will also see him fight Michael Mando’s Scorpion, who was just Mac Gargan in Spider-Man Homecoming. Other villains Parker will face is Tombstone, Boomerang, Tarantula, and the organization The Hand.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day is directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, who isn’t a stranger to the MCU having directed Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings and the Disney+ show Wonder Man.

The cast includes:

  • Tom Holland (Uncharted, Avengers: Endgame) as Peter Parker/Spider-Man
  • Zendaya (Dune Part II, Challengers) as M.J. Watson
  • Jacob Batalon (MCU Spiderman franchise, Novocaine) as Ned Leeds
  • Mark Ruffalo (Spotlight, Foxcatcher) as Bruce Banner/Hulk
  • Jon Bernthal (The Wolf of Wall Street, Sicario) as Frank Castle/The Punisher
  • Michael Mando (The Hummingbird Project, Better Call Saul) as Mac Gargan/Scorpion
  • Tramell Tillman (Severance, Mission Impossible: The Final Reckoning) as William Metzger
  • Marvin Jones III (Halo, The Equalizer) as Lonnie Lincoln/Tombstone
  • Sadie Sink (Stranger Things, The Whale) and Eman Esfandi (Ashoka) each have roles as antagonists where Sink will play a superpowered individual and Esfandi will play M.J.’s boyfriend.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day swings into theaters on July 31, 2026.
