Los Lonely Boys to Headline San Antonio Music Festival

SAN ANTONIO, TX — A free farmers market concert will open a new all-day music festival in San Antonio next month, which includes a headline performance by San Angelo’s Los Lonely Boys.

Pearl Fest, a first-of-its-kind event at the Historic Pearl complex, is scheduled for Saturday, May 23, at the former Pearl Brewery site.

The festival will combine free daytime programming with a ticketed evening concert.

Festivities begin at 11 a.m. with a free public stage at Pearl Park held in conjunction with the weekly Farmers Market. The Park Stage lineup includes LA 45 with Chicano soul singer Sunny Ozuna, along with Texican Legacy, Batooter and Jose Amador & Terra Nova.

The ticketed portion starts at 5 p.m. on the main stage beneath U.S. Highway 281. That lineup will feature local performers Nicky Diamonds, mypilotis and Vintage Pictures before Los Lonely Boys close the night with their style of “Texican rock ‘n’ roll.”

General admission tickets go on sale Friday for $25. A presale will be available Thursday for customers who subscribe to the Pearl’s email list.
