SAN ANGELO, TX — A San Angelo man has been arrested after stabbing someone in Paintbrush Alley in downtown San Angelo.
Cameron Few, 31, was arrested for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon after stabbing a man with a pair of scissors.
According to court documents, an investigator with the San Angelo Police Department arrived at Shannon Medical Center and was told the victim had been stabbed multiple times in the back in Paintbrush Alley in the 200 block of South Irving Street.
The victim stated he and Few engaged in a verbal altercation which included the victim telling Few to be "more of a man." This upset Few, who then retrieved a pair of scissors and proceeded to stab the victim in the back 11 times.
The victim then punched Few in the face, grabbed the scissors from him, and ran to Shannon Medical Center in downtown San Angelo.
The investigator was told Few was detained at the intersection of East Concho Avenue just a couple blocks from the crime scene. Few told the investigator that the victim’s behavior and actions over the past couple of weeks had aggravated him, which included playing noise on his phone too loud. Few said that made him angry and, on the date of the stabbing, Few said the victim was playing music too loud again. The victim then called Few a gay slur, after which he grabbed the scissors and stabbed him multiple times.
Few is being held in the Tom Green County Jail on $100,000 bond.
