Odessa Woman Wanted After Infant Dies in Bathtub

ODESSA, TX — The Odessa Police Department is looking for a mother after she was charged with manslaughter.

Sienna Herrera, 23, reportedly left an infant alone in a bathtub where the baby died. In a Facebook post, the Odessa Police Department stated:

"Based on the initial investigation, it was believed that 23-year-old Sienna Herrera left her infant child in a bathtub with two other children. Investigators revealed that the children were left in a bathtub for an extended period unsupervised and Herrera was originally charged with Endangering a Child.

"The infant was sent for an autopsy and based on the fact and circumstances presented during the investigation, OPD detectives obtained an additional warrant. Herrera is currently wanted for Manslaughter and the investigation is ongoing."
