BIG SPRING, TX — Howard County Crime Stoppers is seeking the public’s help identifying a man who allegedly helped steal $42,000 worth of equipment from an oilfield site early July 22.
The two men drove onto the site about 2 a.m. and took the equipment, according to a Crime Stoppers Facebook post Monday. One suspect, described as having a beard, has been identified. Authorities continue searching for the second man.
Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for information leading to the arrest of the unidentified suspect. Tips are anonymous; no caller ID is used.
People with information should submit tips online through the “Submit a Tip” icon on the Crime Stoppers Facebook page or at P3tips.com, or call the tips line at 432-263-8477. Tips left on Facebook Messenger will not be accepted. Tipsters should reference case No. 26-0742 and keep the tip number they receive to claim any reward.
