Midland Man Shot in Head During Store Robbery

MIDLAND, TX — A man was reportedly shot in the head during an aggravated robbery at a Midland store early Friday morning.

The incident occurred just before 4 a.m. at the Holy Vape & Smoke store in the 900 block of East Florida Avenue.

The Midland Police Department stated it found a 21-year-old man who had been shot by the suspect.

It’s unclear if the victim worked at the store.

The victim was transported to a local hospital, where he is in stable but critical condition.

The suspect hasn’t been identified, and the investigation remains ongoing.
