San Angelo Boutique Seeks Public’s Help Identifying Theft Suspect

SAN ANGELO, TX — Ocotillo Boutique is asking the public’s help to identify a woman suspected in a theft at the San Angelo store. 

The boutique posted surveillance video and images to Facebook on Sunday, seeking information about the incident, which occurred Saturday afternoon, May 23, at 1821 Knickerbocker Road, Suite E. The footage is timestamped around 2:42 p.m.

“We are sharing these images and videos in hopes of identifying the individual involved in an incident yesterday afternoon at our store,” the post states. “If you recognize this person or have any information, please contact us directly or reach out to local law enforcement.”

The store described the theft as disheartening, noting its effect on a small business, its employees and families. 

In a follow-up comment, Ocotillo Boutique said the matter is an ongoing investigation with local law enforcement. Representatives said they chose not to confront the woman while she was in the store and now have clearer images of her.
