NSFW: Alleged Footage Obtained From Mother's Day Shooting in San Angelo

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — Footage that is apparently from the Mother’s Day shooting in San Angelo has been obtained from a contributor.

The footage was taken from a security camera at a neighboring home from the shooting on Sunday, May 10, which claimed the life of 22-year-old Jaborien Cook. 

Another individual was also shot according to San Angelo Police Chief Travis Griffith. That individual’s name has not been released.

At about the 40-second mark of the video, arguing can be heard, and multiple gunshots are apparently fired seconds later.

It is unknown if the shooter was in this vehicle, or if the individual in the vehicle was just trying to leave.

On May 10, San Angelo police responded to the 600 block of East 44th Street regarding a shooting. On scene, officers found two victims suffering from gunshot wounds.

According to SAPD Police Chief Travis Griffith, the shooting involved a “known suspect-victim connection,” and he said was confident that this was not a random crime. SAPD stated it also has extra officers assigned to the area.

No additional information regarding the suspect or victims has been released at this time.
