Suspect in Taylor County Child Sex Assault Turns Himself In

 

ABILENE, TX — A man wanted by the Taylor County Sheriff’s Office on a first-degree felony charge of aggravated sexual assault of a child has turned himself in to Jones County authorities, officials said Thursday. 

The Taylor County Sheriff’s Office had been seeking the public’s assistance in locating the suspect, identified as Seth Stephens. He surrendered hours after the agency posted a wanted notice with his photo.

The sheriff’s office did not release further details about the alleged incident or the circumstances of Stephens’ surrender.
