ODESSA, TX — An Odessa woman was arrested and charged with murder last week after a man died from a fentanyl overdose.

Shelbi Elder, 36, allegedly delivered fentanyl to Dayton Hector Lynn, 25, on Jan. 27. Later that day, Lynn was found deceased in the 2300 block of Eisenhower Road.

An autopsy and toxicology report later confirmed that Lynn died from fentanyl poisoning.
