Sweetwater Man Sentenced to 152 Years for Crimes Against Children

 

SWEETWATER, TX — A Sweetwater man has been sentenced to 152 years in prison for multiple crimes against children. 

David Saenz-Quintana was sentenced March 27 in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice after a jury delivered a guilty verdict, the Taylor County Sheriff’s Office reported. 

The Taylor County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigative Division began its investigation in 2025 and concluded it in February 2026. Saenz, 43, was arrested May 1, 2025, after the FBI received a cyber tip. 

The sheriff’s office thanked the Nolan County District Attorney’s Office, Sweetwater Police Department, Nolan County Sheriff’s Office and the FBI for their partnership in the case.
