Police: Avoid Southland, Green Meadow Due to Crash

 

SAN ANGELO, TX - San Angelo police are advising drivers to avoid the area of Southland Boulevard and Green Meadow Drive after a single-vehicle crash. 

The call came through at about 5:30 p.m. this Wednesday evening. At the scene, it was observed that a Chevy Tahoe had veered off the roadway and crashed into the nearby wooded area. 

Emergency dispatch audio stated that the driver was not responding and that the occupant's foot was stuck on the gas pedal. 

They were subsequently transported to the hospital. 

Police are currently investigating the cause of the crash.
