Crash Shuts Down Houston Harte After Person Reportedly Hit by Vehicle

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — A person was reportedly hit by a vehicle on the Houston Harte Expressway on Tuesday morning, shutting down eastbound traffic near the Main Street bridge.

The incident occurred about 10:15 a.m., according to scanner communications, when someone was reportedly struck by a vehicle.

The crash took place in an area under construction.

A reporter on scene observed an ambulance leaving the site of the crash with its lights on.

Police were directing all traffic off Houston Harte onto the Main Street exit.
