Old Central Firehouse to Host Grand Reopening Next Week

SAN ANGELO, TX — The San Angelo Chamber of Commerce is hosting a ribbon cutting for the grand reopening of the Old Central Firehouse Venue & Suites on Friday, July 24.

It will be from 4:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. at 200 South Magdalen Street

"Join us as we celebrate the grand opening of Old Central Firehouse Venue & Suites and the beginning of an exciting new chapter," the San Angelo Chamber of Commerce stated. "Bring a friend to check out the redone space, meet professionals from all industries, and celebrate business in our community!"

The Old Central Firehouse building was constructed in 1929 and was one of the first firehouses in San Angelo.

After closing as a fire station in 1976, it was reopened in 2019 as a bed and brew. It added a pizzeria in 2020.

The business was sold earlier this year.

The new Old Central Firehouse Venue & Suites offers five different room options, all including free wifi, king-size beds and a coffee bar.
