Family was at the heart of Monreva’s life. She shared 57 happy years of marriage with her husband, W.K. Richards. She treasured her son and daughter-in-law, Troy and Bridget, and took the greatest pride and joy in her grandchildren, Chloe, Sam, and Mimi. She also cherished the memories and unending laughter with her mother, Leta, and her sisters, Faye and Deene.
Monreva is survived by her son Troy and his wife, Bridget Richards; granddaughter Chloe and her spouse, Britt Richards; grandson Sam and his wife, Kaitlin Richards; and granddaughter Mimi Richards. She was preceded in death by her husband, W.K. Richards; her parents, Walter and Leta Smith; and her siblings, Faye Gesch, Deene Strasner, and Troy Dan Smith.
She will be deeply missed, but her love and the memories she created will remain with her family always.
Visitation will be 5:30pm until 6:30pm Wednesday, October 21, 2026 at Johnson's Funeral Home located at 435 W Beauregard, San Angelo, Texas. Funeral Service will be 11:00am Thursday, October 22, 2026 at Johnson's Funeral Home Chapel with Tom Palmer officiating. Burial will follow at Johnson's Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens.
