July 3 Downtown San Angelo Concert and Fireworks


Downtown San Angelo Inc. & San Angelo LIVE! present “A Star-Spangled Banner Concert and Fireworks” on Friday, July 3, 2026 at the Bill Aylor, Jr. Memorial RiverStage, 16 E. Avenue A, in downtown San Angelo. The festivities are part of the 6th annual event called A Star-Spangled Banner Concert and Fireworks hosted by Downtown San Angelo, Inc.

Admission and VIP Options: 

General admission is FREE, and seating in the grass or bleacher areas is first-come, first-served starting when gates open at 12 noon on Friday, July 3, 2026.

For those seeking an elevated experience, VIP tables on the floor in front of the stage and private cabanas along the Concho River are available for purchase:

8-Top VIP Tables:

Located near the stage, include admission for 8 people, premium seating, barbecue dinner, homemade ice cream, a dedicated beer/wine bar, and VIP restrooms.

Price: $650

10’x10’ Cabanas: 

Set along the Concho River behind the stage for the ultimate fireworks view. Includes admission for 12, reserved tables and chairs, shade, barbecue dinner, ice cream, drinks, and exclusive amenities.

Price: $1,200

Wristbands will be distributed at the VIP gate on the day of the event. Both tables and cabanas are expected to sell out and can be reserved now by calling Downtown San Angelo, Inc. at (325) 655-2345.

Barbecue Cookout & Ice Cream Party

This year’s VIP dining experience will feature a full barbecue cookout, highlighted by fresh pulled pork sandwiches served with all the traditional trimmings and fixings. From savory sides to zesty sauces, guests can expect an authentic and satisfying Texas barbecue feast. For dessert, VIPs will enjoy Sonny Cleere’s Memorial Ice Cream Party, with fresh-made nitrogen ice cream served from a mobile kitchen by the Arctic N7 Liquid Nitrogen Ice Cream Company.

Make It a Downtown Celebration

Downtown businesses are encouraged to take part and welcome the estimated 12,000+ attendees expected to fill the area throughout the day. General admission space at the RiverStage and across the river at Neff’s Park is first-come, first-served.

Coolers Allowed inside RiverStage

This year, coolers are allowed inside the RiverStage. However, no glass containers are allowed and no alcohol is allowed inside the coolers due to legal constraints with City of San Angelo ordinances.
